Dayton Method Hot Yoga


The Dayton Method Hot Yoga is founded on knowledge learned from different Hatha Yoga systems and rich
with Jason Wilkerson’s own approach to Hot Yoga. In this sequence, you will find postures incorporated
from different styles of Hatha Yoga set to soothing yet energetic music. Jason’s experience is based in
his lifetime practice and teaching people of all ages, abilities and body types.

The Dayton Method Hot Yoga sequence is a challenging series of 28 postures (asanas) and 2 breathing
exercises (pranayamas) practiced in a heated room  (105 degrees with 45% humidity), suitable for all ages and ability levels. The postures
stretch and strengthen specific muscles, ligaments and joints needed for the next posture. Heat warms
the muscles, prevents injuries, increases circulation to facilitate the body’s natural ability to heal and
allows a deeper workout. Heat cleanses the body by flushing toxins.

The Dayton Method Hot Yoga is directed at creating the highest level of energy, vitality, and freedom.
It cultivates the body’s capacity to relax and dramatically reduces the negative effects of stress. It is a
form of preventative medicine and the benefits of the practice are immediate.
